Spectators: 8067 (Terracing: 6052, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when David Lowndes kicked off to start the match. Waldemar Zjawin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Paul Edworthy in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Dorking United FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Doug Lovell hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Czeslaw Czeszyk during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC LongeR's Czeslaw Czeszyk got a free kick in the 17th minute. Doug Lovell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Waldemar Zjawin made a huge save. Dale Murphy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dale Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes FC LongeR got a freekick which was hit by Wit Gaszynski. Sammy Curtis's late challenge caught a FC LongeR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sammy Curtis helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Dorking United FC got a freekick which was hit by Sammy Curtis. Robert Robak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Clive Blake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC LongeR were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Dorking United FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wit Gaszynski took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Jaroslaw Raszek heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 49th minute Robert Robak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clive Blake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lech Skarpiak made a kick off. Edgar Czech charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Czech the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, FC LongeR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Czech to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Lowndes in the 56th minute of play forced FC LongeR's goalkeeper Waldemar Zjawin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Zjawin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Lowndes in the 58th minute of play. John Paul Edworthy scored 1-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldemar Zjawin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wit Gaszynski lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of FC LongeR:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dorking United FC:s goal. In the 78th match minute, FC LongeR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Robak to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Edgar Czech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Sammy Curtis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC LongeR's zone, John Paul Edworthy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldemar Zjawin came out of the goal and John Paul Edworthy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sammy Curtis kicked well hit freekick during the 100th minute of the match.
