To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Bixintxo came free, but Mikael Granström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Aztore was a little too slow when Henric Martinsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 46th minute Benito Raphael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Granström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Mikael Granström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 71 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Mikael Granström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benito Raphael. After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Alvaro Orkatz got a free kick in the 77th minute. FC Kurdistan's Sven Berg was substituted for Charlie Ekerot. In the 78th match minute, Monte Hermoso Beach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Orkatz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Kurdistan booed when Monte Hermoso Beach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Arotza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikael Granström made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Miguel Joseph sent off a good shot on target. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
