The audience thought a goal was coming when Barnaba Waselenczuk got free with Sven Hebels in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Barnaba Waselenczuk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven Hebels was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Peter Homan lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Gwidon Sawicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrit van der Weerden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Zula Orlicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LKS Do Bigosu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mijdrecht Maffia the free kick. The referee gave Mijdrecht Maffia a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. Gwidon Sawicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerrit van der Weerden in the 36th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barnaba Waselenczuk to strike the kick off in the second half. The Mijdrecht Maffia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mijdrecht Maffia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
