The supporters of αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ booed when Purple Talents was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk Smets didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Laureano Salvatore came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Salvatore couldn't finish the play. Michael Campens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Delfino, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lieven Omblets in the 40th minute of play forced αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's goalkeeper Robustiano Casado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Campens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Fabian Llin kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Michael Campens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Delfino's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Lieven Omblets took a quick shot and it went in 2-8 without a chance for Robustiano Casado to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Purple Talents had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
