Spectators: 7969 (Terracing: 5978, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Baldomiro Gonzalez took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Saul Flor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Remigio came free, but Vicente Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Urre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascual Luzaide went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Flor got free with Bertin Yashin in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Gavino Evis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Remigio came free, but Vicente Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Tohias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Urre having to make a save. Justo Tohias scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Urre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Eliseo Remigio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Urre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Luzaide, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Bruno Seguinus's late challenge caught a Cougars FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Seguinus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Bruno Seguinus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Luzaide came free, but Vicente Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Urre came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Cougars FC's Eliseo Remigio. But to his dismay, Eliseo Remigio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Bruno Seguinus got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bruno Seguinus hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justo Tohias made a kick off. Vicente Urre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Luzaide in the 53rd minute. In the 59th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Matia to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Iratze came free, but Vicente Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's Guillermo Iratze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Urre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saul Flor hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Justo Tohias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Urre having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Cougars FC's Pascual Luzaide ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vicente Urre. Vicente Urre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. When Justo Tohias came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Cougars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Tohias couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Cougars FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Candela FC throughout the match.
