The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis's Benicio Lop quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Benedito Rego, made in the 5th minute of the game. 5 minutes into the game, Gusmão Leiria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ɍυƒυs™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Ɍυƒυs™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gusmão Leiria to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis's Nunez Tavio tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Aldaír Lucena fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ɍυƒυs™'s protests and gave Aldaír Lucena a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ɍυƒυs™ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Aldaír Lucena hit a great ball. ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis's Nunez Tavio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maurício Estrada but with some difficulty. When Higino Viveiros fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ɍυƒυs™'s protests and gave Higino Viveiros a yellow card for diving instead. Victorio Johans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gusmão Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Oier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gusmão Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the game, one of ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gusmão Leiria scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorio Johans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Artal in the 42nd minute of play forced Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper Maurício Estrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gusmão Leiria came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Ɍυƒυs™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gusmão Leiria couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Oier was the one to do the kick off. Maurício Estrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Artal in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Hélder Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Johans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Norberto Rami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Oier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilson Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Victorio Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Oier in the 71st minute of play forced Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper Maurício Estrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Estrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Artal in the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Benicio Lop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Lop was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maurício Estrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Artal, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis's Nunez Tavio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurício Estrada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ɍυƒυs™ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
