Spectators: 8057 (Terracing: 6044, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gusmão Leiria started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Matxin got free with Maurício Estrada in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, Ɍυƒυs™'s Wilson Maciel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Elequemedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Maurício Estrada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Peter's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute, Hélder Resende left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ɍυƒυs™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Maciel came free, but Freddy Elequemedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match, Silvestre Peter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maurício Estrada saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alex Arruda hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Silvestre Peter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 minutes, Victorio Eguntsenti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piquirenda FC and the Ɍυƒυs™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Piquirenda FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Victorio Eguntsenti hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes, Ɍυƒυs™'s Hélder Resende shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Freddy Elequemedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ɍυƒυs™ reached it. With a little luck, Ɍυƒυs™'s Maurício Estrada got control of the ball when Amadeo Matxin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victorio Eguntsenti hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda FC's Silvestre Peter got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestre Peter to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Matxin in the 51st minute of play forced Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper Maurício Estrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Elequemedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson Maciel in the 53rd minute. Benigno Rico hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Gusmão Leiria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Elequemedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The Piquirenda FC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Piquirenda FC's Silvestre Peter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maurício Estrada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvestre Peter went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Ɍυƒυs™'s zone, Amadeo Matxin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Estrada came out of the goal and Amadeo Matxin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ɍυƒυs™'s Maurício Estrada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Matxin in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Silvestre Peter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th match minute, Ɍυƒυs™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Rego to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes Piquirenda FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Eguntsenti. 92 minutes into the game, Piquirenda FC's Amadeo Matxin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurício Estrada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ɍυƒυs™ players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
