After some careless play in the Strib Galacticos IF defense, Faustino Weterio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rikardt Kjeldsvig. The Strib Galacticos IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rikardt Kjeldsvig should have stopped the shot. Rikardt Kjeldsvig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Rikardt Kjeldsvig came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Gaston Ubarna. But to his dismay, Gaston Ubarna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 36th minute Gaston Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rikardt Kjeldsvig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, Strib Galacticos IF's Preben Heie made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustacio Socorro was left in no man's land by his defense there!

In the 56th minute, Gaston Ubarna made a precise shot to the right of Rikardt Kjeldsvig. Strib Galacticos IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Gaston Ubarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rikardt Kjeldsvig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Strib Galacticos IF defense, Delmiro Gotzon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rikardt Kjeldsvig. The Strib Galacticos IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rikardt Kjeldsvig should have stopped the shot. In the 65th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terkild Svarte to maneuver through the defense. Rikardt Kjeldsvig was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ernesto Reno. Eustacio Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Dærup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Preben Heie in the 69th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Eustacio Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Preben Heie hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Weterio in the 70th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Rikardt Kjeldsvig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Preben Heie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Strib Galacticos IF's Preben Heie managed to work through Soroca F.C.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Preben Heie dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Gaston Ubarna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rikardt Kjeldsvig came out and tried to block the shot, but Gaston Ubarna slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 84th minute. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Strib Galacticos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hagbard Crans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes, Soroca F.C.'s Ernesto Reno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rikardt Kjeldsvig came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Soroca F.C. reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Strib Galacticos IF's zone, Faustino Weterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikardt Kjeldsvig came out of the goal and Faustino Weterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Soroca F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soroca F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
