Spectators: 8060 (Terracing: 6046, Seating: 1854, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kamen Sarandev kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, Velko Goleminov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC CSKA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academica Pulheim the free kick. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when FC CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velko Goleminov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunther Daun hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Velko Goleminov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alvo Kobe. Velko Goleminov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Academica Pulheim getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Thilo Haupt hit a great ball. With a little luck, Academica Pulheim's Alvo Kobe got control of the ball when Kamen Sarandev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnd Freye's late challenge caught a FC CSKA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnd Freye helped the player get up and apologised. If Gunther Daun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when FC CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stoil Kastrev didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Velko Goleminov came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the FC CSKA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Velko Goleminov couldn't finish the play. FC CSKA's Vangel Dinev pulled a muscle in his leg after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kilian Thomas during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC CSKA's Grisha Drúndarov was substituted for Vangel Dinev. After 29 played minutes Academica Pulheim got a freekick which was hit by Kilian Thomas. FC CSKA's Atanas Dlúgnekov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabas Rogge in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st minute Barnabas Rogge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atanas Dlúgnekov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC CSKA booed when Academica Pulheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnd Freye didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Kamen Sarandev suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Dominik Zintl fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academica Pulheim's protests and gave Dominik Zintl a yellow card for diving instead. FC CSKA's Zdravko Yanchulev was substituted for Kamen Sarandev. In the 33rd minute, one of Academica Pulheim:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Academica Pulheim. In the 40th match minute, FC CSKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafail Bumbovski to maneuver through the defense. Gunther Daun took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atanas Dlúgnekov. Atanas Dlúgnekov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barnabas Rogge to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdravko Yanchulev in the 55th minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Alvo Kobe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barnabas Rogge was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. FC CSKA's Atanas Dlúgnekov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save FC CSKA from getting a goal against them. Alvo Kobe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdravko Yanchulev, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Zdravko Yanchulev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC CSKA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The audience was convinced that Rafail Bumbovski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvo Kobe was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Rafail Bumbovski sped through Academica Pulheim's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alvo Kobe. When Velko Goleminov came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the FC CSKA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Velko Goleminov couldn't finish the play. Alvo Kobe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdravko Yanchulev in the 76th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, FC CSKA's Gancho Topencharov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gancho Topencharov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC CSKA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gancho Topencharov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Gancho Topencharov kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Academica Pulheim's Alvo Kobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdravko Yanchulev in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of FC CSKA booed when Academica Pulheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnd Freye didn't get a good kick on the ball. Academica Pulheim's Alvo Kobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdravko Yanchulev in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to FC CSKA getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Grisha Drúndarov hit a great ball. FC CSKA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
