The supporters of Gutenberg booed when Defensores del Tiki Tiki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Pitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernan Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Dominguez in the 31st minute of play. Esteve Videl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Gutenberg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Defensores del Tiki Tiki were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benicio Perfecto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Santo Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Guillen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernan Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Lawrence, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Benicio Perfecto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Esteve Videl. Esteve Videl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Baldomero Marcones scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernan Guillen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 61 played minutes Defensores del Tiki Tiki got a freekick which was hit by Lino Selmo. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Leo Nicholas was substituted for Ramiro Musko. Lino Selmo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Santo Dominguez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernan Guillen skillfully saved the ball. Esteve Videl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Gutenberg's Esteve Videl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Gutenberg from getting a goal against them.
