Spectators: 8056 (Terracing: 6043, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nestor Ritchie started the match with the kick off. Traian Pantea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Dominguez in the 7th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radu Arapașu during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gutenberg were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Ares FC -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Javier Franco took the corner. The corner led Gutenberg's Javier Franco to fire away a dangerous shot which Traian Pantea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aristide Chihaia kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Ritchie in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Traian Pantea saved Ares FC -MM- from getting behind. In the 20th minute of the match Gutenberg got a corner. Ares FC -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Javier Franco ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Gutenberg's corner Javier Franco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Traian Pantea quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Ares FC -MM- defense, Bernardo Lawrence kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Traian Pantea. The Ares FC -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Traian Pantea should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Gutenberg getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bernardo Lawrence hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes Gutenberg got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Ritchie. Esteve Videl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Cristescu in the 33rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Fliz during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Gutenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Fliz to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Ares FC -MM-'s Pompiliu Cristescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Gutenberg's Amado Rocio got a free kick in the 44th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Nestor Ritchie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Traian Pantea. Ares FC -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nestor Ritchie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half Gutenberg were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Ares FC -MM-'s Traian Pantea got control of the ball when Santo Dominguez tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Victor Răchită had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Pompiliu Cristescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pompiliu Cristescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gutenberg's goalkeeper Esteve Videl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victor Răchită scored 2-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteve Videl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteve Videl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Arosculesei, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pompiliu Cristescu in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Videl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Liviu Buceceanu during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, one of Ares FC -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ares FC -MM-. Gigi Arosculesei kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Ares FC -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Chihaia. Traian Pantea acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Javier Franco. A collision led to Gutenberg getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Bernardo Lawrence hit a great ball. Cristobal Fliz hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ares FC -MM-'s Aurelian Lupoi tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Esteve Videl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Arosculesei in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gutenberg walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
