In the 31st match minute, Ares FC -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Iorga to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pompiliu Cristescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of General Velásquez booed when Ares FC -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Răchită didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 minutes, Ernesto Daniel Baracaldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the General Velásquez and the Ares FC -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, General Velásquez's Ernesto Daniel Baracaldo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Constantin Stoicescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gabriel Sologuren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Aristide Chihaia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. General Velásquez's Horacio Unzaga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Traian Pantea but with some difficulty. In the 85th minute Constantin Stoicescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Sologuren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Sologuren came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Ares FC -MM-'s Victor Răchită. But to his dismay, Victor Răchită quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The General Velásquez players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ares FC -MM- from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
