The supporters of General Velásquez booed when Academica Pulheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas von Puttkammer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnabas Rogge received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabriel Sologuren came out and tried to block the shot, but Barnabas Rogge slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 44th minute. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Gustavo Chacaltana hit a great ball. After the first half General Velásquez were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barnabas Rogge was the one to do the kick off. Miquel Jaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Alvo Kobe made a huge save. Horacio Unzaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Alvo Kobe made a huge save. After a rather tough play, General Velásquez's Eustacio Delgado got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Horacio Unzaga fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored General Velásquez's protests and gave Horacio Unzaga a yellow card for diving instead. Horacio Unzaga hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 86 minutes of play, Academica Pulheim's Thomas von Puttkammer made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Sologuren was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Hadrian Greilinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karsten Oppmann hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
