Gabriel Sologuren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Musko went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Máximo Acosta hit a great ball. Gabriel Sologuren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Unzaga came free, but Fernan Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Sologuren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Remigio in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Perfecto in the 29th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Gabriel Sologuren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Sologuren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Perfecto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nazario Alsina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of General Velásquez booed when Defensores del Tiki Tiki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Selmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miquel Jaña to make the kick off. When Gustavo Chacaltana fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored General Velásquez's protests and gave Gustavo Chacaltana a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Defensores del Tiki Tiki booed when General Velásquez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Chacaltana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Benicio Perfecto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gabriel Sologuren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horacio Unzaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Guillen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Bell Stringer hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Fernan Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Delgado in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Defensores del Tiki Tiki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sobotka to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match Sarracino Owen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernan Guillen skillfully saved the ball. Frank Sobotka hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarracino Owen in the 76th minute of play forced Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goalkeeper Fernan Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes General Velásquez got a freekick which was hit by Nazario Alsina. General Velásquez's Gabriel Sologuren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Bartoleme in the 82nd minute of play. Gabriel Sologuren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Frank Sobotka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernan Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miquel Jaña in the 96th minute of the match. Miquel Jaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Fernan Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
