The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when Valhalla F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bidun Tejeido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Túlio Negri thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Vitor José, a very annoying self made goal in the 7th minute which led to 0-1. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Vitor José played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaxen Roca in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Kaxen Roca came free, but Vitor José reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Negroni having to interfere. In the 16th minute Generosb Arrate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitor José saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Elia Negroni managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Juan Sorin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th minute Blanco Chagavia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitor José saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blanco Chagavia in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitor José saved S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting behind. After 37 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sorin. Claudinei Murrillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vitor José. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 40th minute, Blanco Chagavia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitor José was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 46 minutes into the match, S.E.R. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blanco Chagavia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iuri Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blanco Chagavia in the 55th minute of play forced S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Vitor José to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Valhalla F.C.'s zone, Jonas Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elia Negroni came out of the goal and Jonas Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when Valhalla F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaxen Roca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitor José showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Murrillo in the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Vitor José had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaxen Roca. 88 minutes into the game, João Carlos Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valhalla F.C. the free kick. In the 88th match minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Vitor José showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blanco Chagavia in the 90th minute of the match. The Valhalla F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Valhalla F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Valhalla F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
