An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Veloso in the 4th minute of play forced Börna Bulldogs's goalkeeper David Lindell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jonas Veloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Lindell was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 11th minute of the match, Henrik Godholm got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vitor José was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 12 minutes into the game, Emil Alström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Vitor José was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Juan Sorin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Lindell. Börna Bulldogs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Sorin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. David Lindell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Sorin in the 26th minute of play. Joakim Kilström charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joakim Kilström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Börna Bulldogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Kilström to maneuver through the defense. Vitor José showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Stålberg in the 94th minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sorin to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Börna Bulldogs.
