The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Guilabertus De la Torre threw the ball into play from the sideline. After a rather tough play, Parque Europa FC's Valery Cardeñosa got a free kick in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cordairo Torrente came free, but Walmir Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valery Cardeñosa got free with Walmir Leme in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lupere FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavinho Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Galnares having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cordairo Torrente to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's Durvalino Ortiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Galnares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Lupere FC - DMZ's Luis Galnares threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gonçalo Baptista, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luis Galnares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 69th minute, Rosario Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valery Cardeñosa in the 72nd minute of play forced Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Walmir Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Galnares was a little too slow when Gonçalo Baptista got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durvalino Ortiz got free with Luis Galnares in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luis Galnares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Baptista in the 80th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Cordairo Torrente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Parque Europa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 88th minute, Cordairo Torrente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 90th minute of the match Valdo Mazza completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Valdo Mazza a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 91 played minutes Lupere FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Mazza. When the referee ended the match the Parque Europa FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
