An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Firmo in the 21st minute of play forced ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's goalkeeper Alfonso Cauli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Fabián Haste suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Lázaro Darien fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZORZAL01's protests and gave Lázaro Darien a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Lázaro Darien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Camilo Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Israel Brais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Cauli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Israel Brais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Cauli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 37 minutes ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benjamin Firmo who took care of the corner kick. Edarlito Kato hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Edmondo Coviello was substituted for Anthony Tocci. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domenico Bruno to strike the kick off in the second half. Augusto Guidone was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 52nd minute, Augusto Guidone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Firmo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Cauli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 played minutes ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Coviello. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Edmondo Coviello managed to get in a good position for a shot. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmondo Coviello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Maura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonso Cauli made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Benjamin Firmo sent off a good shot on target. After 72 minutes of play, ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Fabrizio De Lorenzi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Maura was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 86 played minutes Benjamin Firmo rounded ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 92nd minute, Fabrizio De Lorenzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
