The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Moberg got free with Walmir Leme in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walmir Leme made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Brian Örnberg sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Baptista in the 18th minute of play forced Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Wiktor Söderqwist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Real Södertälje:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lupere FC - DMZ:s goal. Wiktor Söderqwist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wiktor Söderqwist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonçalo Baptista's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Walmir Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Moberg in the 31st minute of play. Nando Baptista hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Harald Kjellman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jardel Guimarães's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Wiktor Söderqwist - 0-2 was put on the score board in the 38th minute. In the 44th minute Gonçalo Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Söderqwist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian Örnberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Real Södertälje's Edwin Siggman got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Cristóvão Alves got a free kick in the 68th minute. Walmir Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Örnberg in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Moberg came free, but Walmir Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
