Spectators: 8413 (Terracing: 6310, Seating: 1935, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gonçalo Baptista started the match with the kick off. Lupere FC - DMZ's Walmir Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Tavares in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Baptista came free, but Ivo de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Baptista notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pesqueira City's Ivo de Moraes. Ivo de Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Pesqueira City's Hernani Tavares got a free kick in the 30th minute. Cristóvão Alves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivo de Moraes. Pesqueira City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ivo de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto Mineiro in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Zé Augusto Mineiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ivo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Mineiro in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Baptista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ivo de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute, Flavinho Tavares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yan Netto to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Arruda in the 56th minute of play forced Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Walmir Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pesqueira City's Ivo de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Pesqueira City from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Mazza in the 62nd minute of play forced Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Ivo de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes Pesqueira City got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Diniz. 67 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Ivo de Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonçalo Baptista. Gonçalo Baptista succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 69th playminute. Marquinhos Moraes struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Walmir Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pesqueira City. Zé Augusto Mineiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivo de Moraes came out and tried to block the shot, but Zé Augusto Mineiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 76th minute. In the 79th match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Alves to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Hernani Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pesqueira City's Júlio Abreu got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ivo de Moraes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Valdo Mazza. In the 86th minute Túlio Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's Jardel Guimarães broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 94 minutes of play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Gonçalo Baptista made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo de Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there!
