In the 2nd minute, Salomone Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Popolizio FBC's zone, Bosco Balaban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Lezarreta came out of the goal and Bosco Balaban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Salomone Freire got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Bosco Balaban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eduardo Lezarreta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Hebia. In the 21stth minute of the game Quintan Ontavilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spams's Danijel Subašić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Baladi Vellana came free, but Danijel Subašić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Alcala kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Romulo Eli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Eli in the 34th minute of play forced Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Eduardo Lezarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Larpe Berrios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spams the free kick. The supporters of Spams booed when Deportivo Popolizio FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chumo Edeon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Chumo Edeon got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Spams made a substitution. Aquiles Maties replaced Romulo Eli. The wind increased when Bosco Balaban made the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Eduardo Lezarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Petri in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Donato Senen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Lezarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Larpe Berrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bosco Balaban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th match minute, Deportivo Popolizio FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Sotelo to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Loren Canel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Danijel Subašić. Danijel Subašić yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Eduardo Lezarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Senen in the 69th minute of play. After some careless play in the Deportivo Popolizio FBC defense, Bosco Balaban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Lezarreta. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Lezarreta should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute Aquiles Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Lezarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Berart might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Lezarreta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enzo Berart ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77thth minute of the game Bosco Balaban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Eduardo Lezarreta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquiles Maties fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Lezarreta having to interfere. Rene Hebia kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Felipe Sotelo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Salomone Freire charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salomone Freire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Deportivo Popolizio FBC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Salomone Freire hit a great ball. In the 88th minute of the match Aldo Lizbeth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Lezarreta skillfully saved the ball. Eduardo Lezarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Eduardo Lezarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Maties, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spams's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
