Spectators: 8402 (Terracing: 6302, Seating: 1932, VIP seats: 168) SIMvergüenzas's Bero Freire started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Caetano Izaguirre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SIMvergüenzas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Popolizio FBC the free kick. In the 4th minute, Caetano Izaguirre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Eduardo Lezarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Adán in the 6th minute of play. After 12 played minutes, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Felipe Sotelo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Torcuato Garcia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Popolizio FBC reached it. In the 14th minute, Quintan Ontavilla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torcuato Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Deportivo Popolizio FBC booed when SIMvergüenzas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Bajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Quintan Ontavilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quintan Ontavilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, SIMvergüenzas's Llanos Durango got a free kick in the 20th minute. Felipe Sotelo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Torcuato Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Popolizio FBC. Sebastián Adán struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Eduardo Lezarreta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SIMvergüenzas. Larpe Berrios took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Torcuato Garcia. SIMvergüenzas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Torcuato Garcia came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Baladi Vellana. But to his dismay, Baladi Vellana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Baladi Vellana took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torcuato Garcia. Torcuato Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quintan Ontavilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Lezarreta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caetano Izaguirre's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Eduardo Lezarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastián Adán in the 58th minute of play. Rafael Mayol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Lezarreta having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bero Freire in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Lezarreta saved Deportivo Popolizio FBC from getting behind. In the 68th minute Quintan Ontavilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torcuato Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caetano Izaguirre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Lezarreta having to make a save. In the 80th minute, Quintan Ontavilla made a precise shot to the right of Torcuato Garcia. SIMvergüenzas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 90th minute, Timo Bajo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Felipe Sotelo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SIMvergüenzas. SIMvergüenzas's Torcuato Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save SIMvergüenzas from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Deportivo Popolizio FBC booed when SIMvergüenzas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llanos Durango didn't get a good kick on the ball.
