Caio de Mendonça's late challenge caught a FC Barrera 2.0's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caio de Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Caio de Mendonça hit a great ball. After 20 minutes DENVER™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Luís Luz who took care of the corner kick. Valério dos Santos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Gildo Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, DENVER™'s João Paulo Baiano got control of the ball when Adalberto Pinheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Betão Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 35 minutes into the game, DENVER™'s Luiz Guilherme Toscano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betão Paulista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Nuno Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barrera 2.0's protests and gave Nuno Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Nuno Cordeiro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half DENVER™ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Guilherme Toscano to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Adalberto Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Paulo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Cordeiro in the 54th minute of the match. Pedro Luís Luz hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Barrera 2.0 booed when DENVER™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Luiz Guilherme Toscano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Betão Paulista, 0-2. In the 80th minute, one of DENVER™:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DENVER™. 85 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Cordeiro came free, but João Paulo Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Baiano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Wanderson Passos got a free kick in the 94th minute. João Paulo Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Barrera 2.0 manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing DENVER™ to win.
