Spectators: 8240 (Terracing: 6250, Seating: 1830, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Twan Lute took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Spanjer during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, AC Pitt Bier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Spanjer to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, AC Pitt Bier's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Lidman came free, but Fokke Veenhuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fokke Veenhuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Lidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Göran Lidman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Veenhuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Göran Lidman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xentrias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Lidman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, AC Pitt Bier's Wilfried Oude Kamphuis got a free kick in the 21st minute. Fokke Veenhuis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Lidman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin van Putten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Stig Busk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Xentrias's Elias Albom got a free kick in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, AC Pitt Bier's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Lidman came free, but Fokke Veenhuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascall de Vries kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. If Elias Albom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Albom to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Xentrias's Per-Erik Arvidsson got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 51st minute of the match Klaas Rijkaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig Busk skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Xentrias getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aleksander Bank hit a great ball. AC Pitt Bier's Fokke Veenhuis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save AC Pitt Bier from getting a goal against them. Robin van Putten kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Göran Lidman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Veenhuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Busk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin van Putten, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Xentrias's goal looked a bit too open when Robin van Putten came free, but Stig Busk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AC Pitt Bier getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Stefano Cardinaal hit a great ball. Twan Lute took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig Busk. Stig Busk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Fokke Veenhuis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Göran Lidman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 94 minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
