Hannes Skager might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pablo-Enrique Oribe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hannes Skager ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th minute Dennis Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo-Enrique Oribe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gil Dameda hit a great ball. Pablo-Enrique Oribe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Blomberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Samyang Ramen's Dennis Öberg got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Samyang Ramen's zone, Matthew McConaughey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Nordmark came out of the goal and Matthew McConaughey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pablo-Enrique Oribe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Blomberg in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, John Blomberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samyang Ramen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Playa Malvín the free kick. John Blomberg kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Kalle Ros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 minutes, John Blomberg made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Playa Malvín's Pablo-Enrique Oribe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. John Blomberg struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Pablo-Enrique Oribe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samyang Ramen. After 38 minutes, Peio Cantolla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Playa Malvín and the Samyang Ramen players grew even worse after the yellow card. 44 minutes into the match, Dennis Öberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo-Enrique Oribe. Playa Malvín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennis Öberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Playa Malvín's Pablo-Enrique Oribe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Playa Malvín from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Samyang Ramen getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kalle Ros hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Samyang Ramen's Dennis Öberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pablo-Enrique Oribe. Pablo-Enrique Oribe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Samyang Ramen's Albin Hammarström was substituted for Dennis Öberg. Samyang Ramen made a substitution. Rudolf Öfverman replaced Hannes Skager. After having played for 66 minutes, Christer Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samyang Ramen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Larsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th match minute, Playa Malvín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspard Gadañon to maneuver through the defense. Albin Hammarström, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 78th minute of the match, Albin Hammarström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pablo-Enrique Oribe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Larsson in the 79th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Pablo-Enrique Oribe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Gaspard Gadañon hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Larsson came free, but Pablo-Enrique Oribe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo-Enrique Oribe came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Samyang Ramen's Albin Hammarström. But to his dismay, Albin Hammarström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 93rd minute of the match, Christer Larsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pablo-Enrique Oribe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Playa Malvín supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Samyang Ramen's performance. The match ended with a win for Samyang Ramen.
