Spectators: 8468 (Terracing: 6352, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ronaldo Pinho started the match with the kick off. Castanheiro SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastião Paulista in the 5th minute. After taking down the ball on Castanheiro SC's corner Sebastião Paulista fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivan Adamčík quite easily take care of the ball. In the 11th minute Klement Dupal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dagoberto de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Tibor Barmoš sent off a good shot on target. Ivan Kaľavský kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Telmo da Fonseca got a free kick in the 38th minute. Zé Pedro Dionísio struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ivan Adamčík didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castanheiro SC. 47 minutes in the game, Tibor Barmoš fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dagoberto de Queirós having to interfere. 1-2 became the score in the 48th minute when Klement Dupal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half Castanheiro SC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klement Dupal made a kick off. In the 55th minute Klement Dupal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matej Čulen charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matej Čulen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Matej Čulen. In the 72nd match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibor Kavecký to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matej Čulen in the 76th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Dagoberto de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFK Petržalka's Ivan Adamčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Moura in the 80th minute of play. Ivan Adamčík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo da Fonseca in the 82nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Ronaldo Pinho sped through AFK Petržalka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivan Adamčík. 91 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Pinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ivan Adamčík was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz Fabiano Toledo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The AFK Petržalka supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Castanheiro SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Castanheiro SC.
