Kjell Stolpe started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO got a freekick which was hit by Francis Jaubert. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Wennerqvist during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Hummerfiskarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Wennerqvist to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Lanusse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fumo Barbarossa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Lundberg having to interfere. Fred Karlberg's late challenge caught a LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Karlberg helped the player get up and apologised. 16 minutes into the game, one of Hummerfiskarna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jean-Yves Poirel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hummerfiskarna's Tor Lundberg. 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Tomas Wennerqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes Hummerfiskarna got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Vallander. In the 35th minute, Francis Jaubert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Bonnal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Stolpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goalkeeper Richard Bonnal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Wennerqvist. In the 42nd minute Fumo Barbarossa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Lundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes Hummerfiskarna got a freekick which was hit by Otto Siöman. In the 44th minute of the match Francis Jaubert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tor Lundberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kurt Vallander during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Kurt Vallander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fumo Barbarossa to strike the kick off in the second half. Hummerfiskarna's Tor Lundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fumo Barbarossa in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fumo Barbarossa in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tor Lundberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 52 played minutes LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Lanusse. After a rather tough play, Hummerfiskarna's Kurt Vallander got a free kick in the 54th minute. Richard Bonnal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Stolpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Francis Jaubert came free, but Tor Lundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolphe Sueur to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Kjell Stolpe sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Richard Bonnal didn't even have to move. With a little luck, Hummerfiskarna's Tor Lundberg got control of the ball when Jaime Lanusse tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Hummerfiskarna booed when LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fumo Barbarossa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st match minute, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Yves Poirel to maneuver through the defense. Kjell Stolpe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tor Lundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fumo Barbarossa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Fumo Barbarossa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tor Lundberg. That made the score 0-2 in the 77 minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Stolpe came free, but Richard Bonnal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Lanusse got free with Tor Lundberg in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Richard Bonnal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Lövgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hummerfiskarna throughout the match.
