Ollie Flesfadar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's Stavros Pourliotopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ollie Flesfadar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Saronida FC's Ollie Flesfadar threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stavros Pourliotopoulos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manos Taganikas in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ollie Flesfadar saved Australian Youth Academy from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Olliver Todman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Manos Taganikas came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Saronida FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manos Taganikas couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Saronida FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Stavros Pourliotopoulos hit a great ball. Manos Taganikass short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Ollie Flesfadar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With 39 minutes on the clock, Bradley Obree commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 39th match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradley Obree to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Casper Keato in the 42nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Lazaros Theofilakos's left hand side. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Antony Cuddihy hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manos Taganikas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Antony Cuddihy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazaros Theofilakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ollie Flesfadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manos Taganikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manos Taganikas kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Dakota Gaffigan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lazaros Theofilakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antony Cuddihy in the 68th minute of the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Manos Taganikas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Australian Youth Academy's Ollie Flesfadar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Saronida FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Manos Taganikas hit a great ball. Olliver Todman's late challenge caught a Saronida FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olliver Todman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Saronida FC booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olliver Todman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasios Zotalis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dakota Gaffigan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
