Lazaros Theofilakos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Lazaros Theofilakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Martinaș in the 18th minute of play. After 22 played minutes BlueLionesse got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Inculeț. After a rather tough play, Saronida FC's Fotis Bagasakis got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Nikos Stratos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to BlueLionesse getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Constantin Baican hit a great ball. Lazaros Theofilakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihnea Martinaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Saronida FC got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Psaridis. In the 39th minute Mihnea Martinaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazaros Theofilakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Marcu Hagi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lazaros Theofilakos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 44 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcu Hagi came free, but Lazaros Theofilakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Vassilis Nikolaidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee ignored Saronida FC's protests and gave Giannis Psaridis a yellow card for diving instead. Marcu Hagis short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Lazaros Theofilakos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saronida FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Narcis Inculeț was slow to take the kick. During this time BlueLionesse's players had a chance to rest.
