Fotis Bagasakis kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Anastasios Zotalis hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Timos Raftis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Narcis Inculeț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolae Jușcă came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lazaros Theofilakos could save by the left post. Lazaros Theofilakos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolae Jușcă in the 28th minute. Lazaros Theofilakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Hagi in the 31st minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Saronida FC got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Bagasakis. The supporters of Saronida FC booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Hagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rareș Pușcașu charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rareș Pușcașu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Saronida FC booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Pușcașu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Kyriakos Patemtzis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saronida FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BlueLionesse the free kick. A collision led to Saronida FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kyriakos Patemtzis hit a great ball. When Narcis Inculeț came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the BlueLionesse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narcis Inculeț couldn't finish the play. Lazaros Theofilakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcu Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute, Nicolae Jușcă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BlueLionesse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Manos Taganikas made the kick off in the second half. BlueLionesse's Șerban Moșanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentinos Semeloglou in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Saronida FC booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Iuzbașa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
