After 25 played minutes Zero Hedge got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Kvick. Bertil Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Jens-Ola Löv made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when José Augusto Favoretto sent off a good shot on target. Jens-Ola Löv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Leão in the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zero Hedge's zone, Kauã Terra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ola Löv came out of the goal and Kauã Terra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Paulo Ferreira got free with Jens-Ola Löv in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens-Ola Löv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Ferreira in the 40th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Augusto Favoretto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 64 minutes of play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's José Augusto Favoretto made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens-Ola Löv was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 minutes, Elivélton Palmeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joinville City - FSCMZ and the Zero Hedge players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Joinville City - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Elivélton Palmeira hit a great ball. Jens-Ola Löv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Augusto Favoretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Ola Löv read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Jens-Ola Löv stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fabiano Leão's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Joinville City - FSCMZ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
