Amador Arias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amador Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lalo Buenaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Vinicio Gerazan hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Pedro Torrens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Turi in the 29th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Amador Arias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charro Pereceira. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Maximino Timo got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Lalo Buenaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Cosme Turi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cable a Tierra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC United the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Cable a Tierra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Turi to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Cable a Tierra's Rodolfo Hodei seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rodolfo Hodei the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cable a Tierra protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rodolfo Hodei had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Cable a Tierra:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AFC United:s goal. Cable a Tierra:s Amador Arias showed great skill when he stopped Hector-Luis Conllas:s penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Bela to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Erauso in the 53rd minute of play forced AFC United's goalkeeper Pedro Torrens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Cable a Tierra were awarded a corner. Gogo Flores went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Cable a Tierra's Gogo Flores to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Torrens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 55th match minute, AFC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector-Luis Conllas to maneuver through the defense. Amador Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lalo Buenaga in the 57th minute of the match. Charro Pereceira's late challenge caught a Cable a Tierra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charro Pereceira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AFC United getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Charro Pereceira hit a great ball. Pedro Torrens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Erauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st match minute, Cable a Tierra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Flores to maneuver through the defense. AFC United's Anxo Labrada suffered a sore thigh after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gogo Flores charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gogo Flores the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Gogo Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Cable a Tierra's Angelo Erauso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After 84 minutes, Roegelio Moyua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC United and the Cable a Tierra players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Roegelio Moyua got a free kick in the 84th minute. Amador Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charro Pereceira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
