Spectators: 9103 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 183) Vicente Gines started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Shuspendemo's Haroldo Cresencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Sosa in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Gaudencio Benvide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernan Ignado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Santiago Sosa got a free kick in the 9th minute. Fernan Ignado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Gines, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Vicente Gines had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernan Ignado. Deportivo Balvanera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Gines was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Omar Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Bernardo Paul got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 34th minute Santiago Sosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Cresencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernan Ignado came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Shuspendemo's Vicente Gines. But to his dismay, Vicente Gines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 39th minute, Victoriano Ceandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when Shuspendemo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Chesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Shuspendemo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Balvanera the free kick. A collision led to Shuspendemo getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Roque Remicio hit a great ball. After 55 minutes, Florencio Paz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Balvanera and the Shuspendemo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Shuspendemo booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Amado Handi got a free kick in the 59th minute. Deportivo Balvanera's Anacleto Toli was substituted for Efrain Ilixo. Amado Handi hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Fernan Ignado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Che, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Vicente Gines notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Deportivo Balvanera's Fernan Ignado. Fernan Ignado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute, Omar Fliz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Balvanera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Victoriano Ceandro hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Deportivo Balvanera's Florencio Paz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Florencio Paz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Deportivo Balvanera protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Florencio Paz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Juan Foyth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santiago Sosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Haroldo Cresencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernan Ignado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Gines went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. The Shuspendemo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
