The Cayetano Dantae was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Santiago Gentiletti managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Domingo Valiente in the 7 minute of the game. Joaquin Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tore-Andre Flø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute of the match Arnoldo Chaime sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Mingo skillfully saved the ball. In the 16th minute, Tore-Andre Flø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lino Gerazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Joaquin Mingo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Cordoba hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sportivo Luan Toro booed when C.U.E. DE COMERCIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Gentiletti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Cayetano Dantae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ringo Bonavena. Efrain Gil charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Gil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes C.U.E. DE COMERCIO got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Gil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tore-Andre Flø in the 33rd minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Joaquin Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Martín's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Dantae read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Tore-Andre Flø sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Mingo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ringo Bonavena in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Dantae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Sportivo Luan Toro's Ringo Bonavena in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Luan Toro's Domingo Valiente got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto Normando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ringo Bonavena in the 59th minute of play forced C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Cayetano Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Diaz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Sportivo Luan Toro's Prudencio Polentzi was substituted for Joel Rumaldo. Efrain Gil got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 67th minute, Efrain Gil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ringo Bonavena might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Dantae. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ringo Bonavena ran back to his position shaking his head. Cayetano Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Gerazan in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the C.U.E. DE COMERCIO defense, Ringo Bonavena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Dantae. The C.U.E. DE COMERCIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Dantae should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Arnoldo Chaime got a free kick in the 87th minute. Sportivo Luan Toro's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
