Dido Levicharov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Luiz Fábio Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dido Levicharov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dido Levicharov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fábio Hermes in the 13th minute. Vergil Gushev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alek Rangachev's late challenge caught a Imbituba - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alek Rangachev helped the player get up and apologised. Alek Rangachev hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Juarês Antunes hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Jeremias Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petar Dzhurkov in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Roger Milla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imbituba - FSCMZ's Jeremias Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. DARAS's Alek Rangachev got his second yellow card of the match in the 29th minute. The referee ordered Alek Rangachev off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Imbituba - FSCMZ's zone, Evlogi Stokov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Vale came out of the goal and Evlogi Stokov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, DARAS's goalkeeper Dido Levicharov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fábio Hermes. When Luiz Fábio Hermes came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Imbituba - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fábio Hermes couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Milla was the one to do the kick off. Jeremias Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Milla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, DARAS's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Hermes came free, but Dido Levicharov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Vergil Gushev. DARAS's Dido Levicharov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Hermes in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the DARAS defense, Luiz Fábio Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dido Levicharov. The DARAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dido Levicharov should have stopped the shot. Dido Levicharov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joélson Madureira's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Joélson Madureira sped through DARAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dido Levicharov. Dido Levicharov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 82 minutes, Luiz Fábio Hermes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imbituba - FSCMZ and the DARAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Luiz Fábio Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Roger Milla managed to get in a good position for a shot. DARAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Milla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roger Milla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jeremias Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of DARAS booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petar Dzhurkov in the 96th minute of play. The Imbituba - FSCMZ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
