The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gabriel Isuskos short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Kjell-Arne Hultman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kjell-Arne Hultman stood somewhat misplaced when Gabriel Isusko came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. 21 minutes into the match, Arnold Schwarzenegger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Primitivo Tiso. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jean-Claude Van Damme to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Acercate Y Patea de Lejos got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Lertxun. MAFFIAN's Michael Klack was substituted for Christer Wassenius. After having played for 66 minutes, Arnold Schwarzenegger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAFFIAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnold Schwarzenegger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonatan Högström's late challenge caught a Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Högström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute Alvar Kollberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Tiso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Leonel Abilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Abilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
