Xande Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Samuca Bezerra made a huge save. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Geovânio Viana hit a great ball. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Samuca Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Rondinone F.C - FDFDF from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Arnaldo Coutinho got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 19 minutes, Adriano Secco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF and the New Joinville - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Adriano Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedrinho do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvinho Gaúcho having to interfere. Xandinho Yamal hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Samuca Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Memphis Xande in the 26th minute of play. Silvinho Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Arce in the 28th minute of play. Samuca Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Tepedino in the 32nd minute of the match. Christian de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Samuca Bezerra got control of the ball when Haroldo Tepedino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiago Fontes hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xande Gol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xande Gol in the 51st minute of play forced Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Samuca Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Eduardo Arce came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvinho Gaúcho could save by the left post. When Xande Gol fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Joinville - FSCMZ's protests and gave Xande Gol a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Xande Gol. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Manoel Mota was substituted for Daniel França. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Luiz Fábio Baiano was substituted for Chicão Fernandez. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Humberto do Nascimento was substituted for Murillo Esteves. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Xande Gol hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Silvinho Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Eduardo Arce. In the 74thth minute of the game Luís Eduardo Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Joinville - FSCMZ's Silvinho Gaúcho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76th play minutes Luís Eduardo Arce shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Silvinho Gaúcho and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Tiaguinho Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiaguinho Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Eduardo Arce kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvinho Gaúcho. That made the score 0-2 in the 81 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perivaldo Pitta got free with Silvinho Gaúcho in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Fontes in the 87th minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Silvinho Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto do Nascimento came free, but Samuca Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuca Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The New Joinville - FSCMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
