Elano Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Arendarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joachim Svenkerud took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigi Buffon. Gigi Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Joachim Svenkerud took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigi Buffon. Gigi Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Miromir Arendarski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elano Rezende. That made the score 3-1 in the 72 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miromir Arendarski in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elano Rezende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Palmeiras - Tia Leila made a substitution. Luizinho Quadros replaced Caco Barbosa. Sevdalin Balyuchev made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Donato Mantini.
