The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in MAGNIFICOS.FC's zone, Silvano Arano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lara Guadalupi came out of the goal and Silvano Arano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hubert Lamowski made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Stig-Ove Mager. Pedro Requena hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, MAGNIFICOS.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Rojelio came free, but Lara Guadalupi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Raimundo Rojelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lara Guadalupi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes MAGNIFICOS.FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carl Cassilly who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Huarriors AFC's Carl Cassilly to fire away a dangerous shot which Lara Guadalupi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 30 played minutes MAGNIFICOS.FC got a freekick which was hit by Mané Gerber. Hubert Lamowski made in the 39th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tao Kuan Hai immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tao Kuan Hai in the 40th minute of play forced MAGNIFICOS.FC's goalkeeper Lara Guadalupi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geert Wijgaert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Matthew read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Geert Wijgaert had several of the Huarriors AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed David Matthew as he didn't even see the shot coming. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvano Arano to make the kick off. David Matthew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Requena in the 53rd minute of the match. Lara Guadalupi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Arano in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Huarriors AFC's Tao Kuan Hai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lara Guadalupi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Geert Wijgaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to MAGNIFICOS.FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Pedro Requena hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Tao Kuan Hai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lara Guadalupi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Matthew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geert Wijgaert in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Huarriors AFC's Silvano Arano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lara Guadalupi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Huarriors AFC's Gaspar Precioso was substituted for Tao Kuan Hai. Huarriors AFC's Boguslaw Karaszkiewicz was substituted for Stig-Ove Mager. MAGNIFICOS.FC's Davi Vaz was substituted for Frederico Hermes. MAGNIFICOS.FC's Davi Vaz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stefan Strobos, made in the 76th minute of the game. Geert Wijgaert took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Matthew. David Matthew dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. MAGNIFICOS.FC's Lara Guadalupi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save MAGNIFICOS.FC from getting a goal against them. The long shot by Victor Molin in the 88th minute really tested Lara Guadalupi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 94th minute of the match, Silvano Arano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lara Guadalupi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 98 minutes into the game, Raimundo Rojelio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lara Guadalupi. Raimundo Rojelio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. MAGNIFICOS.FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
