Xove Tijerina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Malbec, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Dursun Yılğıralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, POZANTI SPOR's Xove Tijerina got control of the ball when Braulio Hitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Mattias Claudinger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bryant Miles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the match, POZANTI SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Don Malbec came free, but Xove Tijerina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charlotte FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kaja Jamak in the 30th minute. Charlotte FC's Kaja Jamak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Xove Tijerina in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Don Malbec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xove Tijerina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Malbec in the 36th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Nejat Balım mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the POZANTI SPOR and the Charlotte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Charlotte FC booed when POZANTI SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nejat Balım didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Don Malbec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xove Tijerina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Charlotte FC's Don Malbec slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xove Tijerina. That made the score 1-1 after 42 minutes of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dursun Yılğıralp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xove Tijerina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Malbec in the 58th minute of the match. Xove Tijerina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Malbec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Rafferty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xove Tijerina having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dursun Yılğıralp in the 83rd minute of play forced Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Bryant Miles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Vahdet İren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POZANTI SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vahdet İren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Dursun Yılğıralp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryant Miles. Charlotte FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dursun Yılğıralp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. POZANTI SPOR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
