Bertil Albäck might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renaldo Segarra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertil Albäck ran back to his position shaking his head. Renaldo Segarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Renaldo Segarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Albäck in the 4th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Fred Vilips threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pénzügyőr SE's Herberto Mascarenhas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Tinglöv in the 15th minute of play forced Pénzügyőr SE's goalkeeper Vencel Mezei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Jörlanda got a corner. Pénzügyőr SE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sven-Edvin Hedberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Jörlanda's Sven-Edvin Hedberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Vencel Mezei despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vencel Mezei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Jörlanda were awarded a corner. Sven-Edvin Hedberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Jörlanda's Sven-Edvin Hedberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Vencel Mezei despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertil Albäck got free with Renaldo Segarra in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pénzügyőr SE's goalkeeper Vencel Mezei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Jesper Larsson in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pénzügyőr SE's Bonifacio George. Bertil Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Renaldo Segarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Pénzügyőr SE's Bertil Albäck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Renaldo Segarra. Renaldo Segarra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 33rd minute Matthias Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vencel Mezei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute of the game Fred Vilips made a throw-in which Jesper Larsson played forward. With his leg Renaldo Segarra managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Pénzügyőr SE's Bertil Albäck fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 41st minute of the match, Herberto Mascarenhas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Renaldo Segarra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 41st minute, Herberto Mascarenhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renaldo Segarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthias Holmgren made a kick off. Renaldo Segarra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertil Albäck's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. If Bertil Albäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes in the game Fred Vilips did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Matthias Holmgren. 56 minutes into the match, Pénzügyőr SE's goalkeeper Vencel Mezei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Holmgren. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fred Vilips during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fred Vilips kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Bertil Albäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Bertil Albäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bertil Albäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renaldo Segarra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Fred Vilips threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pénzügyőr SE's Márton Soós quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Joseph Tinglöv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph Tinglöv's late challenge caught a Pénzügyőr SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joseph Tinglöv helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Joseph Tinglöv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Joseph Tinglöv managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jörlanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Tinglöv was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vencel Mezei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th match minute, Pénzügyőr SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Szaniszló to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes of play, Jörlanda's Matthias Holmgren made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vencel Mezei was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute, Tihamér Angyal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Joseph Tinglöv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Matthias Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jörlanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Holmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pénzügyőr SE fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jörlanda had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
