SK Mons's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Östen Hedin scored to the left of an out of position Connor Osmond, making the score, 1-0. When Matthias Holmgren came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Jörlanda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthias Holmgren couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Jörlanda's Matthias Holmgren got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Tinglöv in the 17th minute of play forced SK Mons's goalkeeper Connor Osmond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Steven Puttemans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Renaldo Segarra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Steven Puttemans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renaldo Segarra having to make a save. In the 26thth minute of the game Steven Puttemans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jörlanda's Renaldo Segarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Steven Puttemans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steven Puttemans in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renaldo Segarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Jörlanda's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Ulici came free, but Renaldo Segarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steven Puttemans struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Renaldo Segarra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Mons. In the 38th minute, Matthias Holmgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 minutes of play, SK Mons's Steven Puttemans made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renaldo Segarra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renaldo Segarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Puttemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SK Mons's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christoph Van den Berch in the 48th minute. The Jörlanda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SK Mons were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthias Holmgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cornel Ulici's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Renaldo Segarra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Joseph Tinglöv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Tinglöv blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Connor Osmond having to make a save. Renaldo Segarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Puttemans in the 79th minute of play. Connor Osmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Holmgren in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SK Mons's zone, Östen Hedin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Connor Osmond came out of the goal and Östen Hedin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A nice corner shot did that Yanniek Verhaert got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Renaldo Segarra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
