The supporters of Berenjenas de Punto Fijo booed when Los up up was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Kusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Alvaro Ramiréz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los up up's Hermengildo Maureo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvaro Ramiréz struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Hermengildo Maureo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berenjenas de Punto Fijo. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Alvaro Ramiréz got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 minutes, Desiderio Erdiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los up up and the Berenjenas de Punto Fijo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Los up up was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Erdiano to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Alvaro Ramiréz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermengildo Maureo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 22 minutes, Alvaro Ramiréz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Ramiréz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermengildo Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Ramiréz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Los up up's Bonifacio Taurino got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Alvaro Ramiréz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Hermengildo Maureo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvaro Ramiréz might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermengildo Maureo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Ramiréz ran back to his position shaking his head. Hermengildo Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Ramiréz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Alvaro Ramiréz took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermengildo Maureo. Hermengildo Maureo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 34 minutes into the match, Alvaro Ramiréz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermengildo Maureo. Los up up's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Ramiréz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Natalio Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Alvaro Ramiréz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berenjenas de Punto Fijo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. 47 minutes into the game, Alvaro Ramiréz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Hermengildo Maureo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juli Alvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. Juli Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hermengildo Maureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juli Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juli Alvarez in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermengildo Maureo saved Los up up from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, Juli Alvarez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hermengildo Maureo, 0-10. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Juli Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's supporters rose to their feet, but Juli Alvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natalio Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Juli Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Berenjenas de Punto Fijo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juli Alvarez couldn't finish the play. With his leg Hermengildo Maureo managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Juli Alvarez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 83rd minute, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Juli Alvarez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. After a defensive mix-up in Los up up's zone, Behram Vacit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Maureo came out of the goal and Behram Vacit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thibaut Vandamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Paz in the 88th minute of play. After 89th play minutes Juli Alvarez shot 0-14, a short shot which went by Hermengildo Maureo and just under the crossbar into goal. Juli Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Berenjenas de Punto Fijo fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Juli Alvarez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-15 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the final whistle sounded Berenjenas de Punto Fijo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los up up.
