Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Thibaut Vandamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márton Soós in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Thibaut Vandamme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herberto Mascarenhas. Herberto Mascarenhas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Thibaut Vandamme made a huge save. After 46 minutes of play, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Alvaro Ramiréz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vencel Mezei was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Pénzügyőr SE from getting a goal against them. Vencel Mezei made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Juli Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Pénzügyőr SE booed when Berenjenas de Punto Fijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Otamendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Berenjenas de Punto Fijo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Berenjenas de Punto Fijo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
