After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Edmund Przybyciel managed to get in a good position for a shot. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Przybyciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Gilvan Ceresso got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute of the match, Filip Tăcutu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gustavo Coelho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A hard shot 15 in the game by Diego Armando Maradona from a close distance when the talented Gustavo Coelho managed to make a qualified save. Xurupita FC's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emerson Jacaré in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingvar Hellkvist saved C Ａ R D I N Ａ L from getting behind. Ingvar Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Jacaré in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Robert Ţugui got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute Emerson Jacaré shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lilian Vântu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Hellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lilian Vântu in the 38th minute of the match. Ingvar Hellkvist came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Xurupita FC's Lilian Vântu. But to his dismay, Lilian Vântu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 43rd match minute, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tahsin Paksu to maneuver through the defense. Paul Cangeopol hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Emerson Jacaré shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emerson Jacaré sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lilian Vântu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ingvar Hellkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Célio Maranhense in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute Filip Tăcutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Tăcutu in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Coelho saved Xurupita FC from getting behind. After 65 minutes of play, Xurupita FC's Emerson Jacaré made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingvar Hellkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xurupita FC's Gil Cruz was substituted for Tarcisio Cordeiro. With an all-out effort, Xurupita FC's Ingvar Hellkvist threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lilian Vântu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 78 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Lima came free, but Ingvar Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The nice shot from Christian Lima in the 78thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ingvar Hellkvist had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Tahsin Paksu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Patricio Isias put in a rough tackle. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L:s Ingvar Hellkvist showed great skill when he stopped Rowley McJon:s penalty. 83 minutes into the game, Xurupita FC's Rowley McJon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ingvar Hellkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Valer Muscaș kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the match Edmund Przybyciel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Coelho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ingvar Hellkvist was a little too slow when Albertinho de Amaral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-4. Ingvar Hellkvist made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jorge Pombal sent off a good shot on target. In the 98th minute, Xurupita FC's Lilian Vântu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The C Ａ R D I N Ａ L supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Xurupita FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Xurupita FC.
