In the 3rd minute, Alvaro Ramiréz made a precise shot to the right of Ingvar Hellkvist. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thibaut Vandamme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ţugui in the 15th minute of the match. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Ingvar Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Ramiréz in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Thibaut Vandamme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Tăcutu. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Thibaut Vandamme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Berenjenas de Punto Fijo from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute of the match C Ａ R D I N Ａ L got a corner. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmund Przybyciel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Edmund Przybyciel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Thibaut Vandamme did a great save. If Alvaro Ramiréz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute Alvaro Ramiréz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Ramiréz in the 30th minute of play forced C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goalkeeper Ingvar Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingvar Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Ramiréz in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Ramiréz in the 36th minute of play forced C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goalkeeper Ingvar Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Francis Van Geel put in a rough tackle. In the 38th minute, one of Berenjenas de Punto Fijo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Berenjenas de Punto Fijo. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Berenjenas de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Juli Alvarez replaced Alvaro Ramiréz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Armando Maradona to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Ţugui came free, but Thibaut Vandamme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes in the game Emanuel Huidu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Robert Ţugui. 70 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goal looked a bit too open when Behram Vacit came free, but Ingvar Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Tăcutu during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78thth minute Behram Vacit easily got through C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's defense and fired away a shot, but Ingvar Hellkvist leaped left and performed a fabulous save. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dieter Denys was slow to take the kick. During this time Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Behram Vacit getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Tăcutu in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thibaut Vandamme saved Berenjenas de Punto Fijo from getting behind. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Tahsin Paksu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 played minutes C Ａ R D I N Ａ L got a freekick which was hit by Horea Vrejiu. The C Ａ R D I N Ａ L fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
