With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sofyane Valognes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Poul Stanković kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sofyane Valognes. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Bilal Hédin in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Clube Audax Metropolitano's Sergio Chus. Sofyane Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Mattos in the 21st minute of play. Maicon Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poul Stanković in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Poul Stanković took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Sofyane Valognes to make any attempt to save it. 35 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Poul Stanković. In the 39th minute, Poul Stanković ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sofyane Valognes was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Sofyane Valognes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sergio Chus. Poul Stanković received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sofyane Valognes came out and tried to block the shot, but Poul Stanković slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bjørn Ironside was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Poul Stanković nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sofyane Valognes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. When Brian Boullet fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rathmore Lime Tree's protests and gave Brian Boullet a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Brian Boullet got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the Rathmore Lime Tree defense, Bjørn Ironside kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sofyane Valognes. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sofyane Valognes should have stopped the shot. After 66 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Karim Cosme. An unexpectedly hard shot by Poul Stanković in the 67th minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Poul Stanković left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Audax Metropolitano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Sofyane Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poul Stanković in the 72nd minute of play. The corner led Clube Audax Metropolitano's Sergio Chus to fire away a dangerous shot which Sofyane Valognes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Poul Stanković came free, but Sofyane Valognes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 minutes, Bilal Hédin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rathmore Lime Tree and the Clube Audax Metropolitano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Bilal Hédin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Bacary Oliva. Sofyane Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Mattos in the 85th minute of play. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Maicon Mattos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sofyane Valognes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Bjørn Ironside put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sofyane Valognes. Poul Stanković scored 11-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sofyane Valognes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bjørn Ironside blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sofyane Valognes having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjørn Ironside in the 93rd minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sofyane Valognes came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Audax Metropolitano's Bjørn Ironside. But to his dismay, Bjørn Ironside quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. There was no doubt that Clube Audax Metropolitano were the better team. Clube Audax Metropolitano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
