After 10th play minutes Gheorghe Ecobescu shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Guy Davis and just under the crossbar into goal. 13 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Ecobescu came free, but Guy Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Holy Cross Mountains's Guy Davis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elroy Snijders in the 18th minute of play. Guy Davis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elroy Snijders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gorgory's Abel Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horea Decuseară in the 22nd minute of play. Guy Davis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Ecobescu in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elroy Snijders in the 48th minute of play forced Holy Cross Mountains's goalkeeper Guy Davis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Gorgory's Agustín Ramis was substituted for Paulino Araoz. 57 minutes into the game, Hugon Budacz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gorgory's Benigno Tono quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Elroy Snijders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Valiente got free with Guy Davis in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Gorgory's Elroy Snijders ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guy Davis. Guy Davis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Holy Cross Mountains's Guy Davis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Holy Cross Mountains from getting a goal against them. Holy Cross Mountains's Guy Davis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elroy Snijders in the 74th minute of play. Elroy Snijders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Horea Decuseară shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 minutes, Higinio Valiente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorgory and the Holy Cross Mountains players grew even worse after the yellow card. Higinio Valiente hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Gorgory left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Holy Cross Mountains.
