Oscar Arevalo scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tevfik Sabri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Oscar Arevalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Nilton Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tevfik Sabri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Ecobescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes Gorgory got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Valiente. Julio Quintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes of play, Gorgory's Higinio Valiente made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tevfik Sabri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tevfik Sabri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Valiente in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Valiente in the 33rd minute of play forced Astros de México's goalkeeper Tevfik Sabri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tevfik Sabri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Arevalo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Gheorghe Ecobescu scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tevfik Sabri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
Gorgory made a substitution. Elroy Snijders replaced Oscar Arevalo. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elroy Snijderss short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Tevfik Sabri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Gheorghe Ecobescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Tevfik Sabri however easily saved by the left post. Tevfik Sabri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Valiente in the 64th minute of the match. When Guido Salomon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. After 67 played minutes Astros de México got a freekick which was hit by Guido Salomon. Elroy Snijderss short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Tevfik Sabri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iker Dei struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Abel Orlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astros de México. Gorgory's Paulino Araoz was substituted for Higinio Valiente. Tevfik Sabri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Ecobescu in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 minutes, A.J. 谢义义 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorgory and the Astros de México players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Astros de México booed when Gorgory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. A.J. 谢义义 didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Dei couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Gorgory booed when Astros de México was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the game, Elroy Snijders recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tevfik Sabri. Elroy Snijders showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Gorgory played a much better game than Astros de México and deserved their victory. The Astros de México players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
