UFC Puturoasa were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Leones FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emil Scobioalã took the corner. Leopoldo Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Juravschi in the 26th minute of the match. Mariano Peyo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Scobioalã in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Lastur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39thth minute of the game Stefan Vanghele who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Juravschi in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Peyo in the 52nd minute of play forced UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Lastur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. UFC Puturoasa's Emil Scobioalã got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Scobioalã, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 77 minutes into the match, UFC Puturoasa's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Sabin came free, but Carlos Alberto Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match Ruslan Blanari shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leopoldo Lastur showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Alberto Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Peyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Gaspar Sabin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The supporters of UFC Puturoasa booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexei Caraman in the 86th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alexei Caraman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Lastur was relentless in the 86th minute of the game.
